Decoration methods
Confirmed decoration methods
Sublimation
Designs are transferred into polyester fabric with heat, so the graphic becomes part of the fabric — typically used for full-color, all-over designs.
Screen printing
Ink is applied through a screen, one color at a time — a common choice for solid-color logos and graphics.
Embroidery
Logos and crests are stitched into the garment with thread for a raised, textured finish.
Heat transfer
A printed design is applied to the garment with heat and pressure — often used for names, numbers and detailed logos.
Tackle twill
Letters, numbers or logos are cut from twill fabric and stitched onto the garment — a traditional look on many team uniforms.
DTF transfer
Direct-to-film: the design is printed onto a film and heat-pressed onto the garment — suited to detailed, multi-color artwork on most fabrics.
Puff print
A screen-print ink that rises when cured, giving the design a soft, raised 3D feel.
3D puff embroidery
Embroidery stitched over a foam base so the logo stands out in raised 3D — a common choice for caps and crests.
